About Me

Hi, I'm Samara.

Before launching Launch Then Grow, I spent many years immersed in creative industries, working alongside artists, designers and makers across Western Australia's South West and beyond.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts, where I studied textiles while majoring in Internet Communications, as well as a Certificate IV in Fine Arts and Craft. My early career included working on the retail floors of independent fashion designers, including Sheree Dornan of Love in Tokyo in Fremantle and Georgia Chapman of Vixen in Melbourne, experiences that deepened my appreciation for creativity, craftsmanship and visual storytelling.

Later, I spent more than five years working in local galleries, including Yallingup Galleries and the community and regional galleries of the Busselton Cultural Precinct. Those years gave me the opportunity to spend time with practising artists, learn about the realities of creative life, and develop a deep appreciation for the role arts and culture play in our communities.

Today, I bring those experiences together by helping artists create thoughtful online spaces that support exhibitions, Open Studios and the ongoing evolution of their creative practice.

I understand that for many artists, a website is more than a marketing tool. It's an extension of your work, your story and your visual language. My role is to help translate that into a website that feels professional, considered and authentically yours.
