Margaret Preston (1875–1963) was one of Australia's most celebrated modernist painters, known for her vibrant use of colour, botanical subjects, and bold linocut prints. Her work reflects a lifelong fascination with the Australian landscape and a unique blend of European technique and Indigenous influence.
